Thomas Jones is a managing director of TRGP Investment Partners LP, responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, investment selection, portfolio construction, and negotiation of funding agreements.    In private practice for over 20 years at Allen & Overy in London and Hong Kong, Tom developed a broad finance practice in the UK and Asia leading innovative deals in derivatives, structured finance and capital markets transactions across a variety of asset classes.  Tom also advised global investment banks on significant dispute resolution matters relating to mis-selling, breach of contract and valuation disputes as well as representing several banks in mediations.  Prior to joining TRGP, Tom spent 6 years as a managing director of another litigation finance firm working across the full spectrum of legal funding matters.   Tom is a member of the P.R.I.M.E. Finance Panel of Experts and also serves as chairman of the board of trustees for Five Talents UK and a board trustee for Five Talents International.   He holds a B.A. from The Ohio State University, a J.D. from University of Texas School of Law and a M.A. from King’s College London.
